Proximity: The Advantage in Getting Closer to the Moment of Demand |

I've known Kaihan Krippendorff and his work for years, and our conversations about strategy and growth are some of the ones I look forward to most. He always finds a way to reframe something I thought I already understood.
His new book, Proximity, is a perfect example. The idea is that value is being created closer and closer to the moment a customer actually needs it, in both time and location, and the companies that close that gap first are the ones winning right now. When he walked me through it using Lawrence & Co. as the example, it changed how I see what we do.
I think this one is a great primer for some deeper strategic thinking about how you sharpen your own competitive advantage. I've pulled a few clips from our conversation, along with the full interview, so you can sit with the idea and start asking where the gap is in your own business. Link is below.
