This week, we have a guest blog post from our associate, Dean Ritchey, who does great work on strategic planning and one-on-one coaching for high potential executives.

He wrote about one of my personal favourite topics: the power of stories we tell ourselves. I’ve been fascinated my entire life by the fact that when I expect great things to happen, they do. And, sometimes, I expect bad things to happen - and they do.

It reminds me of the story of the little engine that could: if you think you can. If you think you can’t, you can’t.
